Who we are: The Canadian Centre for Women’s Empowerment is the only Canadian national not-for-profit organization, based in Ottawa, dedicated to addressing Economic Abuse and injustice through advocacy, education, research, economic empowerment, and policy change. Lived experience and current evidence guide our work. In order to provide survivors and their families with better services, we incorporate theory, practice, evaluation, research, and lived experience.
